This Vintage has a unique personality. It was made with the best grapes from the Quinta, slowly trodden by foot in a wine press, as is traditional in the Douro Valley. The wine aged in tanks for 12 months, and then in old wooden barrels until bottling in the 2nd year.

Tasting Notes:
Dark red and opaque color. Classic aroma, ripe and intense fruit, notes of chocolate and pepper. It is an intense, mature and full-bodied wine, expected to age well in the bottle for several years after bottling, giving the wine its own character.
Store and Serve Advices:
Decant and serve between 16 and 18ºC, in a suitable glass.
Food Pairing:
Goes well with goat cheese and red meat.
