Very popular in Mexico, it is often used in starters, for example to flavour avocado or guacamole, and also to flavour fresh fruit - try it on sliced apple, mango, pear or orange. It adds a touch of spiciness to the fruit. It also goes well with many vegetables, such as cucumber and carrot.
