Product details
The berries were subjected to gentle pressing and, after decanting the must, fermentation took place between 16 and 18 ºC in order to preserve the grape variety's profile. Afterwards, 80% of the batch finished fermentation in new Portuguese chestnut casks, remaining there for around 3 months.
Varieties:
Loureiro
Tasting Notes:
It has an intense topaz colour. The aroma is complex and deep, where spices and candied orange stand out, with caramelized nuances. It reaches its maximum splendour in the mouth... where its alcoholic component reveals itself to be soft and supple, thanks to the slow integration of wood notes, over the years, into the original distillate. Aging in oak casks gave it nobility and a fascinating flavour.
Storage:
Serve at 18/20ºC.
Perfect Serve:
Perfect for digestive.
