Tasting Notes:
For Victory Port, Taylor’s tasters meticulously selected a number of extraordinary wines, which were blended harmoniously, ensuring perfect integration of flavours, complexity and depth. The final blend was then left to ‘marry’ in the barrels for a few months, until it achieved perfect balance and elegance.
Store and Serve Advices:
The bottle should be kept upright, protected from light and at a cool, constant temperature. The wine is best served slightly chilled, between 12ºC and 16ºC. Ready to drink. Does not require decanting.
Food Pairing:
An excellent accompaniment to many desserts. It pairs well with flavours of figs, almonds and caramel. It is an excellent accompaniment to a crème brûlée or a plate of wild strawberries. It can also be enjoyed on its own, at the end of a meal, with nuts or dried fruit.
Allergens:
Contains sulphites.
Disclaimer:
The photo shown is a copy of one of the bottles we have available for delivery. Keep in mind that the older the wine, the more likely the bottle will have some external dirt or slightly damaged labels. This does not mean, however, that the wine is not in a condition to be consumed.
The wines from our rarity zone are stored and air-conditioned in the most correct way so that the wine ages correctly in the bottle, but over time, the wine evolves and changes its characteristics.
We recommend that you carefully remove the cork and let the wine air for some time in order to release its natural aromas. Avoid decanting as it can be a very aggressive operation for old wines.
