The history of the wines of the Casas do Côro begins with the purchase of old vineyards with more than 80 years in Marialva, a fantastic terroir at 600 meters of altitude between Beira Interior and the Douro.
It evolves with the 9-hectare plantation of the best white grape varieties, which grow like the friendship between Cármen and Paulo Romão (owners of Casas do Côro) and Rui Madeira (oenologist). With a common origin in the Beira interior, they share a passion for the land where they were born, for their traditions, smells and aromas, then continuing to believe and bet heavily on a territory they consider unique. The wines are very fresh and with a mineral character, with exuberant acidity but above of everything are wines with soul and the proof that with good wines they become good friends!
