Encosta do Xisto

Founded by Commander Vasco Faria, it is a family business with a strong connection to winemaking since 1975. Currently managed by the founder's grandson he has 4 properties: 2 in Guimarães (Quinta de Freixieiro and Quinta de Cutiães) and 2 in Famalicão Quinta de Pereira and Quinta do Xisto) where the green wine "Shale Hill" is produced solely and exclusively from the best grapes of the vineyards.
