Quinta de Foz de Arouce

Quinta de Foz de Arouce is located in Lousã, in Beiras region. The rivers Arouce and Ceira run through the estate, which is also surrounded by the mountains of Lousã and Penela.  João Filipe Osório de Meneses Pitta inherited Quinta de Foz de Arouce in the 80s and discovered the potential of the vineyards that were over 40 years-old, which resulted in wines of undeniable quality.
In 1987, the first Quinta de Foz de Arouce wine is bottled and sold.
