The craft beer market has been growing a lot in Portugal, and in our shop you can find the most important brands, such as Nortada, Musa or Letra.
But today we've decided to talk especially about traditional Portuguese beers. Those that transport us to that summer in the Algarve or Madeira. They are Super Bock, Sagres and Coral.
Super Bock and Sagres are the two most popular beers in Portugal, each with its own 100% loyal audience! Super Bock is generally described as fuller-bodied and with a richer flavour, while Sagres is known for its lightness and freshness. The choice between them is often a matter of personal and regional taste, with Super Bock being more popular in the North and Sagres in the South.
Coral, on the other hand, is the ‘official’ beer of Madeira, and is the translation of this magnificent Portuguese island... it's freshness, lightness, quality, intense flavour, and a great memory of the island (for those who have had the opportunity to visit).
