Product details
Winemaking:
The grapes are hand-picked. The bunches are partially destemmed (50%) and a very short cold maceration of the must with the masses and stems is carried out in order to extract only the most delicate aromas and some colour. The grapes are pressed in a pneumatic press and directed to a decantation vat. After decanting for 24 hours, the must undergoes alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats at 14-16ºC until it is interrupted by the addition of wine spirit. The wine ages in old oak vats and is blended with wines from the same year and the previous year, in order to preserve the joviality and freshness essential for a Rosé Port.
