The Açôr brand, belonged to the old distributor “P. Martins”, located in Lisbon from its foundation (1930s) until its extinction (1990s).
This distributor, founded by the very young Mr. Martins, had its own brands, including the Açôr brand and aimed to sell and distribute canned fish of the highest quality. This objective was quickly achieved, given the criteria that it imposed on the factories that performed the production. Currently, the recently founded “Luso Conservas” by Bernardo Nero, recovers the AÇÔR brand, relaunching it in the market with products following the same quality parameters.
