More than 1100 hectares of land and an agricultural and wine tradition, which has been going on for 200 years, characterize this property that, since 1775, has remained in the Cruz Sobral family. Pioneer in technological innovation in Ribatejo, the farm located just a few kilometers from Almeirim has just undergone a new remodeling in its 1817 cellar (the first steam in the region), a bet for the quality that has always marked its production.
On the left bank of the river Tagus, the vineyards that today occupy 140 hectares and have an average age of 30 years benefit from the sandy loam terroir, being composed mainly by typical Portuguese varieties: Fernão Pires, Castelão, Trincadeira and Touriga Nacional. Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Alicante Bouchet were the recently introduced foreign breeds, completing the wine-growing area.
